(AhlulBayt News Agency) - There is no military solution for Afghanistan and trans-regional governments and military forces' presence in the country would only make the situation more complicated, Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
Bahram Qasemi made the remarks Monday in a press conference.
In response to a question on Pakistan FM's trip to Iran and whether both sides would hold talks on the new strategy adopted by the US on Afghanistan, Qasemi said the meeting aims at discussing issues of mutual interest, and also regional affairs.
He urged all neighboring countries to spare no effort to create peace and stability in Afghanistan.
Those who are interested in Afghanistan should reduce their interference in this country, Qasemi said.
Commenting on a question which was raised by reporters about September 11 attacks (9/11) and the new documents released on its financial supports, he said all things as regard September 11 is clear.
Qasemi expressed the hope that the US will clarify the issue which had been earlier proved in the US courts.
Qasemi also wished for the world not to observe such accidents in future.
