(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The heads of the three branches of the government of Iran met late on Sunday, hosted by President Hassan Rouhani.
Dr Hassan Rouhani Head of Executive Branch, Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani Head of Judicial Branch, and Dr Ali Larijani Head of Legislative Branch discussed the most important domestic and regional issues.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Dr Rouhani said: "The first issue that we discussed in this meeting, was the conditions of our dear people in Kermanshah province. First, we thank all those who helped people in this regard".
"We appreciate our kind and caring people, especially the people of Kermanshah province, public officials, the armed forces and all those who helped people," he added, saying that there is still a lot of work to do.
The President also offered condolences to all those who lost their loved ones and wished swift recovery for the injured.
Stating that the budget bill that is going to be submitted to the Islamic Consultative Assembly is the first budget bill that the 12th Administration will draft, saying: "From tomorrow on, the budget bill of year 1397 will be on the cabinet's agenda and we hope that we can submit the bill to the Majlis on time".
He also said that the heads of the three branches also discussed other issues with regard to economic growth of the country.
We also discussed the issues and problems of the region, he said adding: "Today in the region, on the one hand we have had good achievements and on the other hand, it is facing a lot of problems".
"In Syria, the attempts made by the people, army and all supporters of Syria and the achievements against terrorism shattered the main bases of ISIS but there is still a long way to go in the fight against terrorism and those who have planned this plot against the countries of the region will not stop easily and we have to keep our vigilance," he added.
Referring to the tripartite summit of Iran, Russia and Turkey in Sochi, Russia, he said: "The three countries made good political efforts in we discussed the future conditions of Syria".
"Today, the political problems of the region are very important and was we will continue our fight against terrorism, the future of the people of Syria, the freedoms that people are seeking, a new constitution and all political moves that should be taken, are very important for us," the President added.
Dr Rouhani also continued: "There are evidence that the Zionists are behind the adventure-seeking of some countries of the region and some major world powers are supporting them".
Stating that peace and stability will be achieved through cooperation among the countries of the region, he said: "We believe that the countries of the region must settle issues among themselves and they must not think that the region will see the face of happiness, unity and peace through weapons or support of the Zionists or the Americans".
"In spite of being a powerful country, Iran will adopt any practice if necessary but it prioritises interaction, negotiation and dialogue," he continued.
Dr Rouhani also said: "Fortunately, today the people of Lebanon have overcome the issues they had and the people of Iraq were able to overcome the problems of division they were facing. We hope that we can witness peace and stability in the region with the cooperation of all regional countries".
He also expressed hope that the people of Iran can continue their economic activities more than before with this unity and stability.
