AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iranian Police chief Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari said the police will give crushing response to all terrorist acts at borders.
In an exclusive interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Ashtari said the potential of armed forces and border guards has increased, adding that it was proved for anti-Revolution and terrorist groups that they will receive crushing response at border.
The security condition is good at Iran-Iraq common borders, he said.
Movements of some anti-Revolution and terrorist group have been foiled by armed forces and border guards, he added.
Referring to his meeting with Major General Hamid Abdullah Ibrahim, commander of the Iraqi border guards, he said joint security issues, monitoring terrorist movements at Iran-Iraq borders, promoting security and readiness for exchange of experiences and also presenting training courses were discussed by both sides.
