Spokesman voices condolences over beheading of Iran's military advisor by ISIS

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi in a message extended condolences on beheading of Iranian military advisor Mohsen Hojjaji by ISIS terrorist group in Syria.

In his message released on Friday, Qasemi pointed to Defenders of Holy Shrine attempts in fighting takfiri terrorists ISIS as creating peace and security on borders.

Following a US strike against the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi), ISIS used the opportunity to attack the Syrian troops deployed in the borders with Iraq in which Mohsen Hojjaji, an Iranian military advisor was taken hostage by the terrorist group elements and beheaded later on camera.

Meanwhile, Quds Force Commander Major General Qasem Soleimani in reaction to ISIS brutal act vowed to clean the region from the terrorist group elements.

'Such crime which has happened for several times against the Sunni and Shia Muslims in the region will only increase the awareness and unity of Muslim people against the sinister phenomenon [of terrorism],' Brigadier General Soleimani noted.
