The 38th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran was celebrated on the 10th of February in different countries of the world.
(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Speaking on the sidelines of an event which was held with the attendance of cultural and art figures and diplomats in Bucharest, Iranian ambassador Hamid Moayer expressed hope for Iran and Romania to get familiar with each others' cultures and civilizations.
Officials, political, trade and cultural figures and foreign diplomats in Greece congratulated Iran’s ambassador.
Minister of Labor, Social Insurance and Social Solidarity of Greece Georgios Katrougalos said that Iran and Greece as two countries having rich cultures and civilizations enjoy extended cooperation capacities.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also in a message congratulated Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the anniversary of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution.
“On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my most sincere congratulations to you and through you to the whole people of your country on the occasion of the national holiday of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Victory of the Islamic Revolution,” the message reads.
Addressing a meeting in a ceremony in Lahore to mark the 38th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution and the National Day of Iran prime minister and the chief minister of Punjab province Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif congratulated Iranian people and the government of Iran on the occasion, adding the Islamic Revolution was a significant moment in world history and one of the few instances when a people had ousted a cruel system that was operating against their wishes.
He further said that Iran’s progress could not be halted despite all hindrances and that this spoke volumes about the courage of the Iranian people.
Iran’s chargé d'affaires in Switzerland Mahdi Abedi, foreign ambassadors, diplomats and military attachés, officials of foreign ministry, economy ministry and finance ministry of Switzerland attended a meeting in Bern to mark the Islamic Revolution anniversary.
Abedi pointed to Swiss President Doris Leuthard’s trip to Iran, saying that both sides reached an agreement on drawing a road map on developing political, economic, financial, security, human rights and judicial cooperation.
Iranian ambassador to Albania in a ceremony held in Tirana Hotel in Albania to mark the 38th anniversary of Islamic Revolution pointed to Iran’s political, scientific and social status in international and regional levels, saying that Iran is an independent, powerful, stable and safe country.
