Five Palestinians injured by Israeli forces during clashes in Nablus

Five Palestinians were injured as violent clashes broke out with Israeli forces during a peaceful protests in the northern occupied West Bank city of Nablus, on Sunday.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Five Palestinians were injured as violent clashes broke out with Israeli forces during a peaceful protests in the northern occupied West Bank city of Nablus, on Sunday.

The spokesperson of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) told Ma’an that dozens of Palestinians in Nablus City organized a peaceful protest in solidarity with East Jerusalem and against the detention of Fatah movement activists earlier this week.

Israeli forces attempted to suppress the protest by repeatedly firing rubber-coated steel bullets, tear-gas bombs and stun grenades.

PRCS confirmed that one Palestinian was shot and injured by Israeli forces, while four others suffered from tear-gas inhalation.
