(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Iranian Supreme Leader's Representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Ali Qazi-Asgar met Russian Orthodox Church His Holiness Patriarch Kirill in Moscow on Monday.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 100th anniversary of re-establishment of the patriarch position in the Orthodox Church of Russia.
Hojjatol-eslam Qazi-Askar congratulated the event and the stabilization of Christianity in Russia and emphasized the importance of peaceful co-existence of different religions.
Iran and Russia have had 10 rounds of dialog between Islam and Christianity, which has been a success, Patiarch Kirill was quoted saying by Iranian Cultural Attaché in Moscow Reza Maleki.
The ceremony was attended by many Muslim and Christian figures from Russia, Iranian cultural attaché in Moscow and Iranian supreme leader's representative for hajj and pilgrimage affairs.
Qazi-Askar also had meetings with Muslim figures and muftis, including those from Tatarstan and Bashkortostan.
