Syed Sibtain Sabzwari, president of Shia Ulema Council Punjab chapter, has denounced the Punjab administration for registration of an FIR against the custodian of a mosque and Imam Bargah in Sama Satta Bahawalpur terming the charge against the custodian as ridiculous.

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Allama Syed Sibtain Sabzwari, president of Shia Ulema Council Punjab chapter, has denounced the Punjab administration for registration of an FIR against the custodian of a mosque and Imam Bargah in Sama Satta Bahawalpur terming the charge against the custodian as ridiculous.

He said that Punjab Vulnerable Establishment Ordinance 2015 was tantamount to chide others for self’s crime. He said that Agha Mohammad Hussain Zahid, president of Anjuman Jafaria, was implicated in the case because of no gunman at a Shia mosque and Imam Bargah in Sama Satta.

He said that all people of Pakistan and managements of mosques and other sacred religious places don’t have enough financial resources to pay the private security guards for their security. He said primarily, it is obligatory on the state of Pakistan and particularly the security establishment to ensure protection of life and property of all citizens.

He said the governments of Pakistan and its Punjab province should order police or rangers to guard the mosques and Imam Bargahs as well. He demanded that a case be registered against the Sama Satta police for harassing the custodian of Shia mosque and Imam Bargah and withdraw the case against him.
