Shiaphobia in Pakistan: Allama Raja Nasir appears in court to express respect for rule of law

Pakistan's Shia political-religious party of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari appeared in the court of Session Judge of Haripur to express his belief in rule of law.

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Pakistan's Shia political-religious party of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari appeared in the court of Session Judge of Haripur to express his belief in rule of law.

He was accompanied by his legal team, notables and his party’s office bearers and workers.

Allama Jafari was implicated in a false case by the biased Police of Haripur. He said that he was coming to attend a mourning congregation in connection with Azadari in Haripur but the police stopped him and told him his entry into Haripur was banned.

He said relevant officials of the administration had never informed him of their decision to enforce ban on his entry and he had no knowledge of it. When police asked him to return Islamabad, he didn’t proceed inside Haripur and returned Islamabad.

He said despite the fact he obeyed police order, a false FIR was registered against him due to which the Haripur Court had summoned him hence he obeyed the court’s order to clarify his position.
