Shia Muslims in Kashmir commemorates birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi

Anjuman Shari Shian commemorated the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (AS) and in this regard a massive procession was carried out in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Anjuman Shari Shian commemorated the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (AS) and in this regard a massive procession was carried out in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

A procession was carried out to mark the birth anniversary of the 12th and the last Shia Imam, Imam Mahdi (AS). The ceremony was organized by Anjuman Shari Shian and it was attended by thousands of people including students.

The procession was attended by Muhammad Hussain Mosvi, Hatim Ali Mir, Syed Muhammad Safvi. Aga Syed Ahmed Mosvi, Shiekh Mehdi Zakri, Molvi Sheikh Ghulam Ahmed Bhat, Molvi Syed Mustafa Mosvi, Molvi Syed Hussain Mosvi, Ghulam Hasan Shango and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Anjuman Shari Shian president Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi threw light on Imam Mehdi and said that he is the prophesied redeemer, who will bring peace and justice to the world.

He said the Imam Mehdi (A) will raise the flag of justice and fair-play after his Zahoor (appearance) with the Allah desire, will gather the oppressed people around him, root out the oppressors and their rules and will place the real Islamic judicial system which will remove fear, harassment and will imbibe them with the blessings, peace and satisfaction.

President Anjuman Shari Shian Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi condemned the harassment of Hurriyat leaders in jails and said that government has been pursuing an anti-Kashmir policies and is mistreating prisoners.
