Pakistan: MWM announces observance of nationwide Quds Day on Friday

Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, deputy secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen of Pakistan, has announced at a press conference that more rallies would be staged across the country in connection with International Quds Day on Friday to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, deputy secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen of Pakistan, has announced at a press conference that more rallies would be staged across the country in connection with International Quds Day on Friday to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.

On the occasion, Maulana Sadiq Jafari, Ali Hussain Naqvi, Mubashir Hasan and Mir Taqi Zafar were also present at the Wahdat House in Karachi.

The MWM leader said that all is set to observe Youm-ul-Quds on Friday of Ramazan 23 or June 08. He demanded of the government to announce observance of Youm ul Quds as an official event of the State of Pakistan and host rallies in all over Pakistan.

He condemned the regimes who declared terrorists the legitimate national resistance of Palestinians and Lebanese who are fighting for the liberation of their occupied land while illegitimate and fake Israeli state has occupied Palestine, al-Quds and parts of Lebanon and Syria. They condemned Israel and US for their anti-Palestine brutalities, relocation of US embassy to occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and blockade of Gaza.

Allama Ahmed Iqbal said it is obligatory on all to come out on Friday and participate in their nearest Quds Day rallies.
