Bahraini activist Nabeel Rajab’s trial postponed to November 19

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Prominent Bahraini rights activist, Nabeel Rajab, had his trail postponed to November 19 on Wednesday, as the court waits to hear testimony from an ‘interior ministry expert’.

Rajab faces a 15-year prison sentence over tweets criticizing the bombardment of Yemen and Manama’s use of torture.

The prominent human rights campaigner, who was jailed last summer, was already sentenced to two years in prison in May.

Earlier this month, Bahrain’s Terrorism Prosecution filed a fresh set of charges against the human rights defender related to posts on social networking sites.
