AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): United Nations Resident Representative for Humanitarian Affairs, Lise Grandi, on Thursday expressed her condemnation of the attacks on Sana'a that killed five children and wounded 16 others.
"We share grief with the families of the victims and are shocked that this tragedy has taken place, with more casualties reported, including health workers," Grandi said in a statement.
"Injured people, including children, have been hospitalized for treatment and humanitarian partners are receiving support in two of the main hospitals. The wounded include a Somali refugee and her daughter is being treated," she said.
She pointed out that this terrible incident is a tragic reminder of all the reasons for which this war must stop.
"International humanitarian law is clear, everything must be done to protect civilians. This is not optional,This is a legal obligation and, above all, a moral obligation on all sides," she said.
